A Shoddy Detective & the Art of Deception, Wednesday 3rd February 2027

A laugh-out-loud comedy whodunnit featuring four actors, a dozen characters and a whole load of chaos.

When a priceless painting vanishes at a manor auction, Detective Stuart Pidcock and his unlikely ally must interrogate eccentric suspects, outwit a cunning thief, and crack the century’s mystery.

The unlikely duo must question the colourful array of suspects living at the manor, all while trying to track down the cunning thief and solve the crime of the century.

After sell-out runs in the West End, at the Edinburgh Fringe, and across the UK, the Shoddy team return bigger, funnier, and even more ridiculous than before.

Catch the comedy that’s taking the country by storm — before it vanishes without a clue!

Agatha Christies The Hollow @ the Lowry, Thursday 22nd April 2027

Renowned detective Hercule Poirot expected a quiet break in the country; instead he's drawn into one of the most unsettling cases of his career.

At The Hollow, an elegant country estate, a glamorous circle of guests gather together one summer evening. But beneath the sunlit charm, something darker coils. Old passions refuse to die. New rivalries ignite. Dangerous infatuations take hold. Then, a shot rings out.

A body is discovered. A smoking revolver in an unsteady hand. The scene appears almost staged; a shockingly straightforward crime, it is anything but.

Starring Peter Polycarpou (Birds of a Feather; Evita; The Brutalist) as the ever-meticulous Belgian sleuth, The Hollow reunites Fiery Angel with director Lucy Bailey following the sell-out tours of Murder on the Orient Express and Death on the Nile. Don't miss this darkly seductive new staging of one of Agatha Christie's most compelling mysteries, coming to theatres across the UK and Ireland this Autumn.

King Lear@ The Royal Exchange Theatre, Tuesday 3rd November 2026, 7pm

You see how full of changes his age is’ Shakespeare’s most elemental tragedy charts a kingdom where power corrupts, families become enemies and prosperity devolves into war. At its centre is the mind of a man who can no longer understand what it means to be human. Lear is a searing portrait of a king unable to distinguish truth from lies. As the storm rises and night falls, language, identity and meaning break down completely. This reimagining of Shakespeare’s masterwork is adapted and directed by Matthew Dunster, who returns for his sixth engagement at the Royal Exchange, in a unique and emotionally charged take on one of Shakespeare’s greatest plays.
