Royal International Air Tattoo, Fairford,  Gloucestershire, 19th - 21st July 2024

 

Reputed to be the biggest military airshow in the world, RIAT features modern military and classic aircraft, static and flying, from many continents.

The Operational Theme in 2024 will be 'Pushing the Boundaries in Air and Space', marking 100 years of British military test flights and highlighting the important work of flight testing and evaluation in modern aviation. This theme will allow aircraft and organisations from around the world to demonstrate the latest technological developments.

Another major theme in 2024 will be the F-16 'Fighting Falcon', in this 50th year since the aircraft's first flight. Developed for the United States Air Force, the Lockheed Martin F-16 took its first flight in 1974, and has enjoyed global success over its 50 years, currently being operated by over 25 different nations. Visitors can expect to see F-16s, flying and static, from around the world.

Little Glastonboro @ Littleborough Cricket Club,  13:00 to 22:00, 22nd June 2024, 

A music festival based in the village of Littleborough; featuring up-and-coming artists, top tribute acts, local bands and community groups. After the success of 2023, they are gearing up for an even bigger and better experience on Saturday 22 June. The festival has 2 stages meaning you can enjoy a constant supply of top-class music! This year there is a special guest from the dance music scene headlining the festival that will have you moving and grooving. Ultrabeat! Boomin Stax of Soul The Madchester Experience Kings of Rock by Thunder Hammer Jackson Kay Band Girlz World (tribute to Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, Katy Perry & Lady Gaga) The kid's zone will include, magic & kids comedy shows with Steve Royle, Sublime Science and Emma's Crazy Creatures. There will also be a food village which will consist of top local food vendors keeping all the hungry festival-goers happy throughout the day: Bombay Brew, El Fuego, Tortas De Pingino, Phow, Qurik Catering Van, Tony's Ice Cream Van and Benjamin's Italian.

 Santa Xmas Special on the East Lancs Railway, December 2024

It is really early in the year I know to advertise this event but it is just to tell you that  we are looking to run this event again this year. As usual Mancass prices will be discounted, at this time we do not know dates or prices but we are looking at mid December. Of course you can always let us know of your interest so we can prebook seats in advance
